In this day of apps and digital collaboration, almost everyone has their favorite app for the job. But people also have their favorite devices and operating systems, which means we aren’t always using the same apps.
We’re going to be sharing a collection of solid apps that can be used for collaboration, communication, and productivity with an emphasis on cross-platform compatibility. This is our first in the series. We hope you enjoy and find at least one app that fills a gap for you and your team (whether personally, professionally or educationally).
Telegram is an open source messaging app that prides itself on speed and security. But it is also feature rich enough to be a solid collaborative messenger for the workplace. With features such as file sharing, compressed and uncompressed photo sharing, search across all conversations and within conversations, quick file and photo grabbing from a conversation, and the ability to delete messages and conversations, it has the potential to grow with the work you do. Telegram is currently 100% free.
Platforms supported: Telegram has official apps for Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Linux, Mac OSX, Windows, and web.
What about you? Do you use Telegram? What do you think of it? Have you ever heard of it? Do you have any questions or comments? Sound off in the comments.
