D.O.A. (1950)

Frank Bigelow, told he’s been poisoned and has only a few days to live, tries to find out who killed him and why. (synopsis from IMDb)

Edmond O’Brien, Pamela Britton, Luther Adler

Rudolph Maté

This is one of my favorite small budget noirs. They were really experimenting for the time. A great performance from O’Brien gives us something to have fun with. It’s a little hammy by today’s standards, but an exciting and innovative piece for its time. What did you think? Sound off in the comments.
